She said not to be silly
As she wiped away a tear
Nothing lurked within the night
That in the day did not appear
So I laid in bed and listened
Though no sound could I hear
Than the soft closing of the door
Alerting me that It drew near
If only she could understand
When I tried to make it clear
It wasn’t what crept in the dark
For darkness itself was 𝑭𝓮𝖆𝔯.
