Stress
Tight knots in my neck
Heavy weight upon my chest
Worry, strain, fear of unknown
Time slips away with work undone.
O my soul! What makes you fear?
Leaving my feeble heart squeezed with care
Mind in endless cycling thoughts
A swirling mist in which I’m lost.
Look above where hope is found
The mountain top no cloud can shroud
Is there a valley through which I wander
Whose shadows Grace cannot pierce asunder?
Though my flesh quickly faints
In my weakness is found His strength
Upon eagle’s wings my burdens lift
Into Jesus’ hands my troubles rest.
